“ I absolutely loved the alcapurrias. Great flavor, texture, fresh and hot. I will ask for ground beef one next time. The steak jibarito was delicious, the plantain was nice and crispy. Next time I'm up north I will definitely stop in. Waitress was so very nice. Great conversation. Really impressed with the alcapurrias as they are my favorite. I brought home 2 pasteles to cook later. ”
“ Stumbled upon this hidden gem thanks to Chris Dolo from TikTok and his review on the mofongo. I have to say I will be a frequent customer going forward. The jibaritos are served nice and hot, full of flavor. The pastellios and papa rellena were quickly served. The parcha is a must when you eat Puerto Rican food. Never in my life have I ever tried mofongo but boy was it delicious. Atmosphere is very friendly, chill and welcoming. Waitress was very kind, friendly and over all excellent service. If your near the area stop by, you will not regret it, trust me!!! ”

“ It's very casual. Some would call it a hole in the wall joint, but we LOVE it. My little family went there for Mother's Day. To our surprise, there were other families there too! They even had MD balloon decorations. The food is SO good AND affordable. The mofongo is the very best, IMO. We live on the south side of the city, but sometimes, I'll just drive up there just to satisfy my craving for mofongo, which tastes even better the second day!! For the record, I have tried the mofongo at many of the local restaurants. None of them beat El Mofonguito in quality, taste, service, or cost. ”

My daughter ordered arroz con ganduales with lechon. Lechon was very good, lots of flavor. I'll be back. ”
“ Went for dinner and as soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile. Mind u it was the last hour of them being open. (Yes I know we were those people ) but I have been craving a bistec encebollado. The gentleman taking our order was so welcoming and attentive. Now the food HIT THE SPOT!!!!
